Many of us are able to go to bed at night and sleep untill wake up in the morning. some of us sleep irregular or completely unable to sleep this might be the reason of Isomnia.
The word insomnia means sleeplessness insomnia is also define as inability to sleep.
What Is Insomnia?
Insomnia is a sleeping sickness in which you can’t sleep or staying asleep as long as need.
Types of Insomnia
Often insomnia classified in two general type:
1.primary Insomnia : This type of insomnia does not stem from any other health condition
2.secondary Insomnia: This type of insomnia is the reason of other health condition. e.g. asthma, depression, cancer, arthritis, or heatburn.

1.Tramsient insomnia:lasted less than one month.

3.chronic insomnia: More than six month.

common causes include stress regarding big life events, like a job loss or change, the death of a loved one, divorce, concerns about work,etc. these are the severe insomnia causes. This kinds of thought make your mind active at night and making it difficult to sleep.This is Sleep maintenance insomnia causes. some traumatic event causes sudden insomnia.
other then these some other causes also lead to insomnia these are:Mental health, like Anxiety disorders, post traumatic stress disorder. Medications, some medicine interfere in sleep. Hard to go to bed, several time wake up, Sleepiness during the day,exhaustion,Irritability, depresssion or anxiety, diffculty in focusing, difficulty in remembering tasks are the severe insomnia symptoms.
If this sleeplessness problem continues for a short period then this is the symptoms of Acute insomnia begin also for long duration then this is the chronic insomnia symptoms.
How is insomnia diagnosed ? The answer is there are no exact test to diagnose insomnia but if you have a sleep related problem then consult your nearby health expert.
Your health expert will perform a physical exam and ask questions about your medical history and sleep history.
They might tell you to keep a sleep diary for a week or two, reviewing your sleep patterns and how you feel during the day.
Treatment of insomnia
Isomnia treatment at home:Acute insomnia(short term) may not need treatment. Acute insomnia is curable naturally. When insomnia becomes chronic it has been suggested treatment.
Suggested treatment for chronic insomnia are: some therapies like Light therapy for insomnia, cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia, are suggested.
Some prescription medication for insomnia like Sedative, Antihistamine, Along with self-care are enough for the treatment of chronic insomnia.
